Participation Details
As part of No Borders Humanity Organization’s (NBH) efforts to follow activities and events addressing environmental and climate issues and the role of youth, the organization participated in the online webinar organized by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), titled “Make It Make Sense: Climate Justice & Youth,” on 28 August 2026.
The session focused on climate justice, highlighting the role of young people in understanding climate change and contributing to efforts to address its impacts. The webinar provided an opportunity to learn from the discussions and perspectives shared by participants, as well as to explore resources provided by UNDP for continued learning after the session.
NBH’s participation reflects the organization’s interest in strengthening the knowledge of its team and following international discussions related to climate and youth, particularly as climate change continues to affect local communities in Iraq.
The session also helped identify areas that NBH could further explore in the future, particularly raising climate awareness among young people, encouraging youth participation in climate action, and strengthening the ability of local communities to respond to environmental and climate challenges.
Follow-up
NBH will continue to follow relevant activities and opportunities provided by UNDP, make use of the resources shared during the webinar, and explore opportunities to integrate climate and youth-related topics into future initiatives and projects.
